THE LOVELY BONES

In the fall of 2007, Dreamworks, Inc. approached Urban Neon to work on the signage for 20 retail stores in a nearly vacant local mall. The mall was transformed into a movie set for the Peter Jackson directed film “The Lovely Bones.” Urban Neon worked together with the art directors and set builders to create 20 1970’s-style storefront signs. The result was a stunning movie set featured throughout the film.

By working with Dreamworks, Inc. on this project, Urban Neon has continued to produce signs for a variety of movies shot in the Philadelphia region. Other films featuring our work include: “Transformers II,” “Silver Linings Playbook,” “Law Abiding Citizen,” “Dead Man Down,” “Happy Tears,” & “Two Bits.”
