THE DEVON THEATER

The Devon Theater is located in the Mayfair section of Northeast Philadelphia. Originally built in 1946, the theater and its marquee had fallen into disrepair. In 2006, Urban Neon was hired by Proof Productions of Sewell, NJ to restore the landmark marquee. Urban Neon fabricated and installed the new painted aluminum cladding, the large vertical box sign, along with large channel letters, letter boards and festoon lighting. Working together with Proof Productions, The Mayfair Community Development Corporation, Drexel University and local politicians to complete the project, the theater was reopened in 2009.
